Korg m1 vst mac osx: The Rebirth of the Classic Synthesizer in Software

hi i recently purchased and downloaded the korg m1 vst. i opened logic pro and it was already somehow installed into logic, so naturally i started using it. before long i started to notice that every one of my instruments had a white noise "echo" on it. this is very frustrating and it started happening as soon as started using the plugin. I've tried opening and closing logic and even restarting my computer but alas nothing seems to do the trick. any one have any suggestions?
